Electricity Bills of Meters used by Mayfield for pumping water and street light



Dear All,

As you may be aware that few days back electricity for Mayfield office was cut and there was no water supply and residents of B Block and C Block were able to restore the electricity and water supply by discussing the matter with the SDO of DHBVN. Further STP has been given one month to pay the bills. Now if the those bills are not paid within the said timeline, then again these meters can be disconnected.

The amount that needs to be paid to be shared between B and C Block and hence need to be calculated basis the number of residents in both blocks

This is for your information and all the B Block residents are requested to cooperate. This amount will be paid from the same amount that we used to pay to Mayfield office as maintenance (Mayfield office has not collected Maintenance as their licenses are cancelled).
 
We will have to pay for the street light electricity bill also.
 
Lets be prepared for the same. The amount for this payment will be worked out shortly & informed accordingly.

House Tax - MCG



Dear All,

In yesterday's meeting between various RWA's of Mayfield Garden, people could not come to any conclusion. Many members were of the view that we should pay and also simultaneously write to MCG for opposing this. Few were of the opinion that we should simply oppose. 

However, it depends upon the individual what they think.

Further, few residents have submitted affidavit that in 2008 and 2009, they used their premises for residential purposes, hence, exemption will be given for two years. People need to go to MCG office, show the proof that they submitted the affidavit and get corrected their bills and pay to MCG (all this needs to be checked and verified by going to MCG office by individuals).

Those who did not submit the affidavit, can try to submit now and go to MCG office for paying the bills (all this needs to be checked and verified by going to MCG office by individuals).

Meeting to be held for entire B block residents.

Dear Residents,

A meeting is being held on 22/4/2012 at 9am to discuss the ongoing issues related to cancellation of Mayfield's license and also to discuss the feasibility of forming RWA for b block.  The meeting is scheduled to be held at B100/101 (empty plots in back lane).  Residents are requested to  please attend the same and put forward their views.

Dear Residents,

RWA's for various blocks in Mayfield Garden got together and met the STP authorities on the 19th of April to discuss the ongoing issues that residents are facing.  Following is the update that Col R.K Sharma who was representing B block shared.


"STP has conveyed(passed the buck) that maintenance responsibilities will be taken over by HUDA Administrator.
DHBVN has been requested not to disconnect the electricity for one month.
No assurance/clarity on pending registration cases.

A meeting attended by the following was held on 14-04-2012 at 1100 hrs at B-51 GF, to discuss the important matters of immediate urgency.

The following members gave their consent while they could not attend.

The following points were discussed:

Ø      Accounts for the quarter Jan-Mar 2012 were discussed and accepted
Ø      The members were apprised of the situation arisen out of the withdrawal of various services (Security, garbage collection etc). Consequently, the responsibility to manage these facilities will be on us which has increased the financial burden quite a bit and is not possible to meet out the expenses with the present resources.  It was therefore unanimously decided to increase the quaterly contribution from Rs 2000/- to Rs 3000/-.  The occupants who have already deposited Rs 2000/- are requested to deposit another Rs 1000/- by 25th April 2012.  Those who have not paid the subscription till now are also requested to deposit Rs 3000/- by 25th April 2012.
Please note that the increase has been affected for the quarter Apr – Jun 2012.
Ø      The question of installing a separate switch in each household for the panic alarm siren was raised. Sh Ajay Gaddi and Sh. M.P Sharma volunteered themselves for the collection of relevant information.
Ø      The meeting ended with thanks to one and all.
